ロンドンを拠点に活動するアーティストSeana Gavin(シーナ・ギャビン)による、90年代アンダーグラウンドレイヴシーンの写真集。90年代作者は未成年ながら熱狂的なレイヴシーンのファンであり、その動向を共に見続けてきた。1994年、イギリスはレイヴを含む「反社会的」行為を取り締まる治安法を施行。それにより、テクノフリーパーティー・サウンドシステムのパイオニアSpiral Tribeらはイギリスを離れ、アルカディアをヨーロッパへと求めた。作者は彼らについていき、旅をしながら日記をつけ、写真を撮り、そして20年近くもの間、その秘密を守り続けてきた。
本書はそんな作者のフリー・フェスティバルやレイヴの視覚的アーカイヴ、失われてしまった自由の、オルタナティヴなアクティヴィティ、ライフスタイルを記録している。

Paramoreのフロントパーソンとして知られ、グラミー賞を3度受賞したシンガーソングライター、ミュージシャンHayley Williams(ヘイリー・ウィリアムス)による3枚目のソロアルバムで、15歳の時に結んだAtlantic Recordsとの20年契約を満了し、自身のレーベルからインディー体制でリリースする初の大作となる。
今作のテーマは「アイデンティティ」、「悲嘆と再生」、「愛・喪失」、そして「契約からの解放」であり、彼女曰く「90年代後半のオルタナ・ロックに向けたラブレター」とのことで、これまでのキャリアやコラボレーションを通じて彼女が見せてきたダイナミズムが収められており、その核心にはジャンルの枠にとらわれない音楽的探求心が込められている。1 枚の統一された「音色パレット」に縛られることなく、曲ごとに異なるサウンド基調が混在することでいくつもの表情を体感することが出来る。ジャンル横断を恐れず、実験的なエッジを持たせ、自身の歌声と個性でまとめ上げた、表現者としての成熟・コンフィデンスを感じる一枚。

We are pleased to announce that L'imperatrice, the six-member cosmic French disco ensemble from Paris, will hold a special in-store event at bonjour records DAIKANYAMA. The band will be visiting Japan for the first time for their performance at KANDA SQUARE HALL on November 25.

This in-store event will include a full-band meet & greet, featuring:

• Photo opportunities
• Official merchandise sales, including the PULSAR LP (their third album), long-sleeve T-shirts, and posters
